The Hagedorn Foundation Gallery is an innovative concept bringing together art, philanthropy and our community in an exciting new way. Our primary beneficiaries include UNICEF, Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, Captain Planet Foundation, and the High Museum of Art.
Our new exhibition by internationally renowned Chilean photographer, Denise Lira-Ratinoff, will run from June 6th to August 21st.
Lira-Ratinoff’s series, “Elements”, features semi-abstracted images of the earth’s four elements in an emblematic-prosaic style.
Her images conjure up profoundly lyrical, passionate and relevant discussions on environmentalism and the ephemeral beauty found in nature. Lira-Ratinoff pushes the envelope with her grandiose dimensions and vision.
An artist talk will be held at the gallery on Saturday, June 28, at 6:00 pm.
During the last eight years, Denise Lira-Ratinoff has explored the interaction between humans and nature through installations that create temporary experiences intended to establish a closeness with nature.
She has received numerous awards including the 1999 Best Young Artist of the Year, Chile.
Denise’s works are included in public and private collections in Europe, North America and South America. She has held individual exhibitions in Chile, Peru, Cuba, United States and participated in numerous group exhibitions in Chile, Argentina, Brazil, Peru, El Salvador, Mexico, the United States and Switzerland.
